The Traffic Strings Quintet (former Athenaeum String Quintet, RO'Strings) was formed by the viola player Lucian Moraru from some of the most valuable Romanian musicians at the beginning of the year 2005. The artistic activity of the group starts within prestigious private events in Romania, in 2006 followed by a successful 7-concerts tour in Canada with Maestro Gheorghe Zamfir in halls like The Roy Thomson Hall, Toronto, The Salle Wilfrid Pelletier - Montreal; The National Arts Centre - Ottawa; The Centennial Concert Hall - Winnipeg; The Jack Singer Concert Hall - Calgary; The Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Edmonton; The Centre in Vancouver for Performing Arts - Vancouver, combined with several apparitions on important TV station and numerous concerts in Romania.
They made their first recordings at the SonArt Records 2 C.D.`s with interesting programs A.Vivaldi - The Four Seasons & Tango`s by Astor Piazzola & Gheorghe Zamfir.
The musicians combine international experience gathered over the years in thousands of concerts with various repertoires ranging from pre-Classicist to Classicist, Romantic, Contemporary and Modern Music.

The project Traffic Strings Quintet & Vladislav Panush Panpipe solo was initiated by the viola player Lucian Moraru, from the very first appareances the show was very wellcomed by the public as a daring and inventive project with interesting timbral combination between an exiting colors of this wind instrument - panpipe and string quintet.
The red line who cross the musical program is diversity. The musicians explore whithout fearless with a commitment to expanding the new flavor sonorities who reach and captivate the public in such way that the two hours concert time is seems to be to short from the first minute until the very end with many ancores.
